Stanningley Albion U-7s played their first tournament of the season and lined up against strong sides from Pudsey Juniors, Calverley United and Hunslet.

* Click here for more Stanningley Albion JFC match reports and club news.The A team went from strength to strength and reached the semi-finals after winning all their group games, where they met Hunslet A which in a close encounter Albion came out victorious winning 2-1.

Stanningley soon found their feet and were 1-0 up after a neat goal by Taylor Thompson.
The second half started and became a one-sided affair and soon added another goal from Owen Greaves. This was too much for Hunslet and Albion scored three more goals.
Special mention to Matty Swift and Joseph Dibb on keeping a clean sheet
in defence and goal, and also Haroon Bostan for his effort up front.
It was a well deseverd win with Stanningley Albion collecting their first piece of silverware.
