The team enjoyed an unbeaten record of 22 wins and 2 draws.

The club is a development from the team which competed as Stanningley Albion Juniors from U-8s to last season's U-17s.

Coach, Mick Sanderson, told Pudsey Today: "It was a big step-up for all the youngsters who made up the squad and they dealt admirably with every challenge which came their way."

He added: Scoring 112 goals and conceding only 13 to win an open-age league at any level is a tremendous achievement and one which the ex-juniors can look back on with pride."

Stanningley also reached the final of the league Cup where they narrowly lost 2-1 to Bradford & District Cup winners Mailcoach FC.
