Stanningley Albion U-7s 3

From the start Albion dominated with tough tackles and some excellent passing and rightly took the lead through Henry Scott after five minutes.

Garforth started to apply pressure but came up against a very solid four man midfield consisting of Owen Greaves, Taylor Thompson, Henry Scott and Joel Fisher who proved too much and cracked under pressure and conceded again from some slick footwork by Joseph Dibb.

The second half Albion stepped up another gear and killed the game off with another well taken goal from Henry Scott.

Garforth tried their best but came up against a commanding centre half Matty Swift and when they did get a shot on target Haroon Bostan was equal to them, making two outstanding saves.

Albion could have added more goals but from a couple of good saves and a very sticky pitch were unlucky.

It was a very hard fought game and a fantastic team effort.
