JOE ROOT took most of the headlines when England sealed a one-day series win over India at Headingley, with his century leading the hosts to an eight-wicket victory.

But Root’s Yorkshire team-mate Adil Rashid also took plenty of plaudits, in particular for a remarkable leg-break delivery that proved too good for world No 1 batsman and captain Virat Kohli. As you can see from the video below, it left the India captain totally perplexed – not surprisingly, given the ball pitched in line with the leg stump before ripping into his off stump.
