In the Bradford league the Pudsey A team of Pudsey Table tennis Club playing in division two hit the top of the table.

They beat Bradford Fast bats B 6-4 with Ray Rider winning three, Sandra Rider two and Paul Noutch one.

With this league based on points per set it leaves Pudsey 5 points clear over Unity B.

In division one in the Leeds league the A team continued their unbeaten run with a 9-1 win over M.P.M.G. The B team also recorded another good win 7-3 over Leeds Judean.

In division two it was a remarkable week with all four teams recording victory the first time this year.

The C and D teams continue their bid for promotion with 8-2 and 7-3 victories respectively over Scarcroft and Lawnswood, Dave Noutch leading the D team to victory winning all three of his games.

Pudsey F team, after a poor start and with the signing of John Thaxter, are starting to put a run of results together.

It was a Thaxter- inspired performance winning his three as the F team accounted for Methley 7-3.

Tightest match in this division was the E team consisting of all juniors who overcame Yorkshire Bank 6-4 with James Atkins winning three and teaming up with Daniel Adams to take the all important doubles.

A number of Pudsey players attended the Selby invitational tournament on Sunday and it was Pudsey's top player Simon Noutch who walked away with the winning cheque for the main event.
