Pudsey and Bramley Athletics Club: August sucess for runners

Pudsey and Bramley Athletics Club keep getting some great results with plenty of races in August.

At the World Trial Race on August 16, Rob Hope was 12th in 49.00. and brother Danny Hope 22nd in 50.47. in a top class field of International runners.

A bit closer to home at the Classic Burnsall Fell race on Saturday, August 22 in the under 12 Girls race Rebecca Coope won the Girls race in 8.16. and in the under 16 Ladies race Amy Sutcliffe was the winner in 10.00, followed in 2nd by Chelsea Corrigan in 15.40.

In the main race of the day Graham Pearce was a fantastic 2nd overall in 14.37. followed by Ryan Greaves 13th 16.48.

Sally Corbin-Smith 101st 23.39. Caroline Harding 136th in 28.14. and Kirsten Rhodes 142nd in 31.23.

At the Sedbergh Fell race on Suday 23rd August Brian Stevenson was 9th overall in 2.32.57.

Pudsey and Bramley train from Priesthorpe School Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm onwards.
