A big crowd at a sun-drenched Tofts Road were treated to a feast of cricket against two well matched teams.
The visitors Saltaire batted first and Pudsey put in a determined bowling and fielding effort.

After the opener retired after a blistering 50 the away side looked to post a big total but fine bowling from Alex Hopkins and Hashim Riaz kept the total down to 108

Pudsey knew they would need bat very well to win. Hashim Riaz and his opening partner Oliver Beckett made a steady start but perished when they looked to push the total on.

Alex Hopkins and Dharaj Sharma batted well and hit some fine boundaries but again fell victims of the need to keep the scoring ticking over.

Mark Hodgson and big hitter Tom Whittaker edged Pudsey tantalisingly close to a first win for the U-15's.

Needing 10 from the last over a Whitaker four had the crowd on their feet but he was caught out for a fighting 22 and looking for three to win from the last ball Pudsey could only scramble a single.

Both teams deserved great credit in producing a thrilling match full of excellent cricket.
