Pudsey put a large team out with three in the top ten for the men, Darren Burnley 6th, Rob Samuels 8th and Paul Gaile 10th.

The ladies did equally well with Karen Pickles maintaining her gold standards winning the ladies event and Diane Wood securing 8th.

In the 'All to count' the men are 1st and the ladies 3rd after the five races.

Also out on Wednesday was Michael Hern at the Otley 10 finishing two and a half minutes quicker than last year in 1:13:47.

Two trail races were run on Sunday 14th, the shortest was the Mizuno Wave Harrier Castle Howard 10k where Darren Burnley finished 4th in 38.04 and Simon Beverley in 52nd with 47:52.

And the longest was the 76km Bradford Millenium Way Relay a 5 leg hilly course on Public Right of Ways.

Considering the sweltering conditions our 3 teams finished well in 9th, 27th and 38th in strong international field of 43 teams.
