Morven Wallace, (319th in 3:40:55) and Martin Edwards, (496th in 3:57:04) both excelled.

Dave Woodhead opted for the half-marathon and reduced his personal best for the second week running, going sub 1:25 for the first time when recording 1:24:49.

First home for the club at the Mileta 10k run from Spenborough A.C.s well-appointed Cleckheaton headquarters was James Clark, who claimed 9th position overall.

Nigel Craven had a successful debut race for the Pacers when clocking 44 minutes to be well placed in the MV50 category.

The race incorporated the Yorkshire Vets 10k Championships, with Jim Wheldon taking 2nd place among the MV55s and Don Stead doing well in the MV65 class.
