Bradford Tigers were the visitors to Stanningley Albion U-14s in their first home game.

Even before a ball had been kicked Albion were forced to make changes due to injuries.

Albion came out with the passion of a side that wanted this win.
Excellent forward play down the left with a cross from Tom Vare allowed Tom McMurrough to head Albion into the lead.

Again fine football and positive play saw Tom McMurrough control, turn and volley from the edge of the box to put Albion two up.

To give credit to Bradford Tigers they never gave up and scored to send
the game into the half time period 2 -1 to Albion.

The second half again started much the same as the first. With Albion pressing all the time the front two and midfield began to control the shots with Jack Witton, Luke Howarth, Tom Crowther and Flynn Brook all playing well.

Albion now had the game within their grasp with Tom Vare putting away Albion's third.

Again Bradford came back scoring their second. Albion's pressure finally told with Tom McMurrough putting away his hat trick. Another fine goal from Tom Vare saw Albion run away 5-2 winners.
