Pudsey Pacers' fell supremo Graeme Tiffany was in action recently at the two-day Saunders Lakeland Mountain Marathon.
He was accompanied in this pairs event by Pudsey & Bramley's Richard Pattinson.

In diabolical weather conditions the duo raced and navigated their way round a tough course based on the Helvellyn range, to finish a magnificent eighth in the demanding 'Bowfell' classification, clocking 9 hours 16 minutes.

Long-term casualty Gary Phillips made his mark on his return to competitive running with 18th place overall at the Baildon 'Carnival Canter' in a fine 25:52, while Alyson Glover was first F40 home in 29:30.

Kev Meakin and Jayne Greensill were among the 150 starters at the 5K Jane Tomlinson Canal Run, with Kev recording 23:04 to Jayne's 26:42.

To round off another busy week, 16 Pacers were among the 580 runners at the Eccup 10 mile road race, among them Ann Francis, who clocked 75:03, and James Clark, 71st overall in 68:29.
