Youngsters offered a helping hand to Pudsey residents in a sheltered housing complex by picking up litter.
Children helped residents at Claremont Grove tidy up the area, collecting bin bags full of rubbish.

PCSO Mick Cox helped to organise the event and said: "I think that it is a great idea by getting the youngsters involved.

"It is a sheltered housing complex and we want to get the local children from the area to come up and help them to appreciate that the residents need some peace and quiet."

Inspector Tom Horner from the Pudsey Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "It is nice to see local children and youths working the their community to improve the environment."
