It was a walk down memory lane to celebrate the history of Pudsey Grangefield School which saw the oldest living former pupil meet the current youngest pupil.
Georgia Dove, 11, was introduced to Mrs Vera Cruse, 92, to mark the celebrations which saw former classmates and staff reunited for a special event as the school prepared to close for the summer and the completion of its refurbishment.

Mrs Cruse first started the Richardshaw Lane school in 1924 and was one of 40 people who attended a special afternoon concert as former pupils and staff were entertained by the school's musicians and drama students.

The school is one of several in Leeds which is being upgraded as part of the £212m Building Schools for the Future scheme.

It is scheduled to be completed by September.
