Sue Ransome: Pudsey Pacers athlete catapults up rankings

Pacers own Sue Ransome had a fine run at the Askern 10 mile road race to claim second position in the women's V50 rankings.
She also took the runner-up spot in the Yorkshire Vets Championship which was incorporated in the event.

Also among the prizes was Jim Wheldon, who clocked 67:15 to be placed 3rd at MV55, while Janek Popiolek also competed strongly to round off another successful day for the Pacers.

On the fells, Graeme Tiffany (17th in 36:48) and Shaun Denham (33rd in 40:32) competed with some distinction at the Crow Hill race in the Pennine hills near Marsden.
