Pudsey Pacers were in action at two evening events last week, with the men's 'A' team excelling at the Washburn Valley Relays.
Jon Prideaux, Dave Cooper and Dave Woodhead claimed 4th place among the 50 strong field.

The strong performance of the 'B' and 'C' teams capped an enjoyable outing.

West Vale, near Halifax, was the venue for the latest Yorkshire Vets Grand Prix meeting, staged by the Stainland Lions club.

Women's captain Ann Francis led the way with 4th place in the ladies' race, aided by fine supporting runs from Diane Wood, Alyson Glover and Sue Ransome. Paul Gaile and Nigel Armitage battled it out for 7th and 8th places among the men, the other counters on the night being Jim Wheldon (1st MV55) and Dave Cooper, who continues to lead the MV35 rankings.
