Pudsey Pacers: Robin Hood Half and Full marathons success

A band of Pudsey Pacers joined the running of the Robin Hood half and full marathons in Nottinghamshire.

The first outlaw home on the half was Dave Burdon in 1:36:15 followed by Martin Edwards 1:40:11, Paula Bray in 1:50:34, John Woodhead 1:52:14 and Carol Parkinson in 2:00:20.

Two went for the full with Dave Woodhead achieving a great time of 3:23:57 and Chris Stanley followed in 4:09:44.

Darren Burnley finished 7th (2nd MV40) in the Wetherby 10k, the last of the Black Sheep series.

His points confirm 2nd place overall in the eight race challenge.

Also running were Gary Carty 39:11:52 and Michael Hern 40:55:55.

The Yorkshireman results are yet to be posted so watch this space for an update

Also out this weekend were Andy Hardaker at the first running of the Wistow 10, home in a cracking 1:05:23.

Sharon Hague at the Fleetwood Half continuing strongly on the road to full recovery with a time of 1:46:20.

And finally, Nigel Craven came 22nd in the Settle Loop Tough Trail race in 1:11:57.
