Pudsey Pacers: Pendelton Fell Race success

Pudsey Pacers out this week were Nigel 'Fellboy'Craven securing a fine 3rd in his category at the Pendelton Fell Race.

He was 34th over the tough five mile and 1500 feet of ascent.

Tim McCaughey and Sue Thompson were out in Derbyshire at the Chesterfield Spire 10; home in 1:12:51 and 1:29:53 respectively.

And finally, Spofforth 10k finished the bank holiday weekend off with 11 Pacers pounding the trail.

First home was Paul Gaile in a fantastic 11th place in 38 on the dot; next up was Robert Samuels 15th in 38.52; Dave Woodhead 20th 39.29; Gary Carty 43rd 42.53; Gary Phillips 57th 45.46; David Byrom 66th 46.49; John Woodhead 124th 52.16; Mandy Bannister 147th 55.21; Karen Thrippleton 151st 55.51; Carol Parkinson 155th 56.09; and last but not least Arthur Wood in 57 on the nose.

A special mention to our Gary Philips who we wish a quick and speedy recovery following a post race incident.
