Pudsey Juniors U-14s claimed the bragging rights over local rivals Farsley Celtic after edging a seven goal thriller.
The team's rise up the Garforth League First Division continues after this impressive win.
Pudsey completely dominated the first half, with Sam Elsworth and Michael Rudak both impressive down the left flank and stand-in goalie Nathan Thorne confidently keeping out any rare Farsley attacks.
Pudsey were two goals up at the break through the hard-working Cole Harrop and Liam Meades, who made his pace tell at every opportunity.
Farsley pulled one back early in the second half and played with more conviction. However, the decisive moment came when Peter Croft delivered an excellent cross for Meades to nod home his second and Pudsey's third.
Pudsey then scored again when Wraith Hayley-Nielsen popped up to take advantage of a defensive mistake and the game looked comfortable for the home side.
Farsley kept battling on, and Pudsey's defence relaxed to allow two more consolation goals, but in truth this was a more convincing victory than the scoreline suggests.
