Pudsey Juniors U-14s had the perfect end to their tour to Barcelona with a chance encounter with Argentinian footballing superstar Lionel Messi.
The lads spotted the Barcelona striker at the airport
as they waited for their delayed flight back to Leeds.
And Messi was happy to sign shirts and pose for photos before he boarded his own flight to Madrid.
The Pudsey team had shown their Spanish hosts that they also know a thing or two about skilful football, as they won both of their matches on tour, playing some delightful continental football and adapting well to the warm conditions.
