There were smiles all round at a cheque presentation at the RSPCA shop in Pudsey.

More than £460 was collected during the Pudsey Carnival Parade in May and Margaret Kay from the Lidgett Hill branch, received a cheque for £250 from Carnival Queen Lauren Prince.

The Friends of the RSPCA were also on hand with their dogs. They also took part in the carnival parade.

Another cheque for £250 will be sent to the Leeds Branch of the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmens Families Association because they were unable to attend.
