The carnival parade will set off at noon from Queen's Park, where Raymond Eddy's Fun Fair, which opens on Wednesday, May 14, should already be pulling in the crowds.
Local businesses have teamed up to sponsor the carnival, with supermarkets and other businesses contributing prizes to this year's Grand Draw.
Charles Clough, whose locally-based law firm Lindley Clough is one of the event sponsors, said: "Pudsey Carnival is an opportunity for the whole community to enjoy a fun-filled occasion whilst raising funds for worthy causes.
"Let's all make it a fantastic family day out and give generously to the nominated charities."
