Pudsey 2005 prove a point against local rivals

Pudsey 2005's first ever game in the Premier Division, against local rivals Swinnow ended with honours even.

Pudsey's lone strike came from a 30 yard free kick from James Rainford after 28 minutes.

The equaliser cam five minutes from the interval.

Try as hard as they could Pudsey couldn't find the winner.

The man of the match award went jointly to Grant Jackson and Matthew Tomlinson, with special mentions to keeper Paul Brennan, Matt Tasker, Simon Yeadon, and substitute Chris McCarthy.

Pudsey's reserve match was cancelled.

Next week, Pudsey travel to Colton FC, while the Reserves travel to Rothwell Juniors.
