Pudsey 2005 lose to higher league opposition

Pudsey 2005's final warm up game of the season ended in a 3-1 defeat to higher league opposition.

Pudsey took the lead against Belle Isle WMC on the hour through, a gambled effort from James Rainford.

But the team succumbed to three late goals in the last quarter of the game.

Special mentions to keeper Paul Brennan, Chris McCarthy, 16-year-old Max Nielson, and Matt Tasker.

Next week Pudsey embark on new terriority of the Premier Division. They kickj off with a home game against local rivals Swinnow White Horse at Queens Park, kick off 11am.

* Pudsey 2005 FC reserves also went down in there final warm up game 4- 1 against Morley International.

Pudsey's goal came from yhew boot of from Declan Forber.

Special mentions to Simon Watkins and Jason Swift.

Next week Pudsey embark in Division 2, with a home game against Crooked Billett at Queen's Park with an 11am kick off.
