Manager Chris Smith sprang several surprises dropping numerous recognised faces.

Pudsey went two up in the first 10 mins through Mark Pickles and Dave Thornton before falling foul of two sucker set pieces, leaving the game honours even.

Man of the Match went to James Rainford.

Next week Pudsey travel to second placed Red Star Harehills,while the reserves travel to Pack Horse Vita,for a first round Presidents Trophy tie.
