Three men found hiding in Beeston house during armed cannabis farm raid

Officers from the Leeds South police team went to a property in Beeston today (Wednesday) after tip offs from people in the area.
Police forced their way into the property and found a "large scale" cannabis farm of around 200 plants.

Hide AdThree men were then found hiding in the loft insulation at the property.
The West Yorkshire Police - Leeds South team said on Facebook: "Officers from Team 3 Inner South Neighbourhood Patrol Team (NPT) have attended at an address in Beeston today after receiving community intelligence from local residents regarding Cannabis being grown at the address.
"Assisted by firearms officers, your local NPT officers forced entry into the premises and found a large cannabis farm with approximately 200 cannabis plants present.
"They also found 3 males hiding in the loft insulation….unfortunately they won’t be entering the hide and seek championships this year!"

Hide AdIt comes just a few days after the same police team discovered a 75-plant cannabis farm in Beeston.
Officers are trying to trace the occupants of the property after Sunday's discovery.
