Horsforth murder: Family of Sarah Keith pay heartbreaking tribute to 'loving mother' as Carl Chadwick appears at Leeds Magistrates Court accused of murder

The family of a woman found dead at her home in Horsforth have paid tribute to a "kind and loving mother".

Police were called to a flat in Broadway at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, April 13.

Officers found the body of Sarah Keith, aged 26.

In a statement issued this afternoon, her family said: “Sarah was a kind and loving mother, daughter and sister.

"She always put a smile on everyone’s face.

"Losing her has left us all feeling so sad and hurt”.

Flowers have been placed outside the block of flats in Broadway.

A message on one bunch of flowers read: "Too young. Too soon. Too sad."

Another message read: "Rest in eternal peace."

A man has today (Thursday) appeared in court charged with murder.

Carl Chadwick, aged 35, appeared at Leeds Magistrates Court charged with the murder of Ms Keith.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Monday, April 19.
