Bomb disposal experts have been called to a house in Cross Gates as nearby homes were evacuated.

Police attended a house on the Ring Road at around 11am today (Sunday) after reports of a safety concern.

The bomb squad was called as a precautionary measure and residents were temporarily evacuated from homes in the immediate vicinity.
