Body of man found in Pudsey field by police

The body of a man was found in a Pudsey field this morning, police said.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed that at 7.44am on Monday (July 6) the body of a man was found in a field off Mount Pleasant Road, Pudsey.

The age of the man has not yet been released by police.

A spokesman from West Yorkshire Police said: "At 7.44am today (6/7) the body of a man was found in a field off Mount Pleasant Road, Pudsey.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious as the Coroner’s Office has been informed."
