Beeston Autofix fire in Dewsbury Road being treated as arson by police

Officers were called to reports of the fire in Dewsbury Road at around 12.25am.
They closed the road as the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service dealt with the incident.

Hide AdEnquiries are ongoing but the blaze is currently being treated as arson.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 24 of May 25.
Two fire engines from Hunslet, two from Leeds and two from Killingbeck attended the scene.
The fire was around 10m x 30m and high expansion foam, four large jets and two breathing apparatus were used.
Dewsbury Road was closed until around 8am.

"Officers attended to provide road closures as the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service dealt with the incident.
"Enquiries are ongoing into the incident which is currently being treated as arson.
"Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101 or online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/contact-us. Anyone making contact is asked to quote log 24 of today (25 May 2021)."
