Aw! Adorable cat given oxygen after being rescued from flat fire
Firefighters have tackled a blaze at a flat above a shop in Leeds today.
Crews were called to the building on Middleton Park Circus at 2.18pm. All persons are accounted for but three cats had to be rescued from the flat.
A firefighter was pictured holding an oxygen mask onto a tabby cat's face to enable it to breathe.
The fire was caused by a chip pan.
Buses were diverted during the incident and the road remained open.
The fire is now under control.
