Police in Pudsey are appealing for information to trace five men who stole an electricity generator from a construction firm.
The men gained entry to GMS, in Cemetery Road, at around 8.15pm on Thursday, May 1, but were challenged by an on site security guard.

The men restrained and threatened the guard before taking the generator and leaving the scene.

The men were all described as white, with one wearing adidas tracksuit bottoms and a baseball cap.

Police are keen to speak to a group of males who were playing football in a neighbouring field shortly before or at the time of the incident.

* Anyone with information is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 0845 6060606 or on Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
