Pushchair pushing Pudsey parents will soon be able to pass each other on a footpath after Leeds City Council agreed to widen it.
The path, which is the main route between Chatsworth Road and Bolton Royd Primary School, is currently not wide enough for two parents with pushchairs to pass each other.

But Leeds City Council's Outer West Area Committee has now agreed to allocate £4,000 from its Well-being fund to solve the problem.

Coun Andrew Carter (Cons, Calverley and Farsley) said: "This is a very popular footpath used significantly by parents to take and collect their children from Bolton Royd Primary School.

"The widening of this right of way has been greatly anticipated by the public and we are happy to be able to provide finances to improve this path which will provide easier access for the benefit of the local community."
