Pudsey: Homes of criminals raided

Homes of suspected criminals were raided in Pudsey.
The police action in Gamble Hill and Heights areas of the town, is part of Operation Champion, a cross-agency initiative tackling crime, grime and graffiti.
Inspector David Roberts of North West Leeds west outer neighbourhood policing team said: "Working with our partners Operation Champion is a great opportunity for us to engage with residents and tackle their key issues.
"The information they provide to Community Support Officers has been instrumental in targeting those individuals who have a negative impact on this community."
Operation Champion has brought together Leeds City Council, police, the fire service and many others, offering practical advice and information to residents about issues such as home safety and security.
The four day operation has been coordinated by West North West Leeds area management in response to local people's concerns.
The raids were in connected with suspected criminal drug activity.
