Pudsey: Fuel fraudsters filled-up free three times

The same car was used three times in repeated thefts of fuel from the same garage in Pudsey over a two week period.
In the first incident, a green Nissan Micra car drove onto the forecourt of the filling station on Stanningley Lane, Pudsey, at about 5.50pm on Friday, February 22 this year.
A man filled the car with fuel and then drove off without making any attempt to pay.
The car was displaying registration plates which police inquiries later established had been stolen earlier that evening from a car parked in Walshaw Street, Bradford.
Subsequently the same green Micra car with those registration plates was used by a driver on two more occasions to get fuel from the same filling station and in those incidents the driver also failed to pay for the petrol he had taken.
The driver of the car in the first incident was Asian, aged in his late 20s to early 30s with short black hair, a neatly trimmed moustache and beard. He was wearing a black and white striped "hoodie" top.
Police investigating the three thefts want to trace a man filmed by CCTV at the garage on February 22. Anyone who recognises the man should ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
