Man dead in Pudsey car smash

A 23-year-old man in the front passenger seat of a car was killed in a road crash in Leeds on Thursday night.
The accident happened at the junction of Owlcotes Road and Highfield Street in Pudsey at 11.20pm.

The driver of the green Clio car, also 23, lost control of his vehicle, which was travelling towards Galloway Lane, and hit a stone wall. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.

West Yorkshire Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to contact PC 5344 Ingham on 0845 6060606.
