Letters are being sent out to people in Leeds and across Yorkshire from this week urging them to isolate themselves for 12 weeks because they fall into a vulnerable health category.

The letters will be sent to anyone on the 'extremely vulnerable' list and is thought to include as many as 1.5M people nationally.

The official government guidance states:
