Music marathons, funfairs and fancy dresses take place tomorrow, the culmination of weeks of charity events which climax with the TV appeal hosted by Terry Wogan, Tess Daly and Fearne Cotton.

This week has seen Pudsey Bear pay a visit to switch on Christmas lights at the White Rose Centre and attend a sponsored indoor toboggan session at Sno!zone in Castleford.

Asda, the main sponsor of BBC Children in Need, has created a range of Pudsey T-shirts and hopes to raise £3m this year.

Children In Need 2008 will be screened from 7pm to 2am, on BBC 1.
